Designing a packaging is not as easy as it seems. Packaging should look natural, as if it was made at the same time as the product it surrounds. Of course, this is not how it works in practice. The product is made first, and the packaging comes next. The packaging is set up in a 2D design and then converted to a 3D structure. Not only do you have to think about how a design should be adapted to the type of packaging, but factors such as color, weight, shape and material also play a role.
